Steelhead, considered the area’s main attraction, can be caught from September through November. The Coho Salmon season is in late October.

Grants Pass was a bustling frontier town with dirt streets, hotels and saloons. In July there is “Back to the Fifties” attracting classic car enthusiasts and the last wee of May you can experience “Boatnik” which is a five day event complete with jet boat races and parade.

During the past twenty or thirty years a new Southern Oregon treasure has emerged in the form of vineyards.
